Welcome to the website for Julie Kaufmann Dancin'. I'm Julie, your hostess and primary instructor.

 

From the crowds at First Night Boston to an intimate country wedding, in nightclubs and offices, at black tie fund raisers and outdoor picnics, on college campuses and Alzheimers residences, people have been enjoying my lessons. Even better, they have been getting up and dancing!
Dancing knows no barriers: young and old, men and women, athletes and couch potatoes, singles and couples, all can participate.You can do it in heels or wingtips, runners or boots; you can wear pants or a dress, suits or sweats. Dancing is easy, and everyone can enjoy it. Everyone--even the watchers--will leave with a smile.

I offer a wide range of dance instruction programs, including group classes, private lessons, parties and events, wedding choreography, workplace exercise,senior programs, and movement class for cancer survivors. Please click on the types of programs link to see descriptions of all my offerings.

Whether you want to two step at a hoedown, waltz at your wedding, line dance for exercise, or swing at a soiree, I can help you. While putting emphasis on good technique, I make learning to dance fun.

The Lebed Method ©® Focus on Healing is a therapeutic movement and exercise class for breast and other cancer survivors, those with Lymphedema, and others with chronic illness. This fun and easy class helps people gain energy, increase flexibility, work with balance issues, and promote a positive self-image. I am a licensed, certified instructor.

I am on vacation July 14-August 5. Private wedding lessons can be scheduled for August.
